Brewing Connections: Inside the Coffee Community with Archers

By 24th April 2024No Comments2 min read

Archers Wholesale & Supply Store, based out of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is educating people about their specialty craft class by class. Archers’ three main goals are quality, transparency, and sustainability, which are all achieved through their method of green coffee trading. Archers showcases coffee beans from all around the world and roasts with care in order for people to enjoy these delicate cups of coffee from the comfort of their own homes, creating a worldwide community of caffeine lovers.

Other than their craft of roasting beans through green trades, Archers also serves as a coffee academy. Courses can include Introduction to Coffee, Barista Foundation, Brewing Foundation, Sensory Foundation, Introduction to Cupping, and more.

One of the co-founders of Archers, Frederick Bejo @frederick_bejo, has been working in the coffee industry for a decade and continues to enjoy the connections that the industry can create.

“I really like the people in the coffee community. I think this is the industry where you can go all over the world, and you know someone. You can connect the language of coffee.”

Archers latest release of roasts include beans from Panama, Colombia, and El Salvador, ranging from notes like apricot and white honey to orange blossom and honeydew, to red apple and chocolate brownie.

Archers Coffee and Academy are open to all who want to learn more about what it takes to become a part of the coffee community. Archers Coffee’s website features information about their roasts, coffee classes, subscriptions, community blogs, and merch. When Archers is hosting an origin trip, there is even a sign-up available for anyone who wants to learn more about a certain roast. One example of this type of trip is a four-day itinerary in Rwanda during May 2024, in collaboration with Baho Coffee @bahocoffee.

Businesses like Archers and passionate baristas like Frederick continue to fuel the world’s cravings for local, sweet, and savory coffee through their love for bringing people together.
