B Coffee Project x Coffeestylers

B Coffee Project was born from the passion of two like-minded coffee fanatics to spread their love for specialty coffee. Colombia is a breathtaking land of charm, orchids, and extraordinary coffee. The Colombian mountains are alive with millions of hearts vibrating with the country’s rich culture and biodiversity rhythm. The colors, flavors, and unique experiences here are unrivaled, and the brown gold that is coffee is their greatest wealth. The people of Colombia are immensely proud of their coffee growers and the entire supply chain, who work tirelessly to produce specialty coffee that is second to none.

Coffeestylers was co-founded by illustrator Duvas (@freelooh), a professional publicist and barista by vocation. His art has always focused on the vision of specialty coffee and the richness of Colombian culture. He has collaborated with over 50 specialty coffee companies, delivering the art of good coffee to various parts of the world. Coffeestylers was conceived to integrate creative work into specialty coffee. Even their creative studio is housed within a coffee spot in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, where they offer branding, illustration, and packaging services for different coffee projects internationally.

B Coffee Project and Coffeestylers have united to create this beautiful wristband design that showcases Colombia's unique features, from transporting coffee to the breathtaking mountains, stunning wax palms, vibrant flowers, and diverse coffee brewing methods. Their official mascot, Brew, will join you on your coffee adventures, making it all the more special!

Blue and white porcelain, or Qing Hua Ci (青花瓷) in Chinese, is a traditional ceramic native to China that has been revered for centuries. The beauty of blue and white porcelain lies in its simplicity, with the contrast between the blue patterns and a white background creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its delicate and intricate designs have made it a symbol of Chinese culture and heritage.

As coffee has become a global phenomenon, it has been incorporated into various cultural practices and customs. Whether you’re looking for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon treat, coffee makes you invigorated and content. Similarly, blue and white porcelain has been exported across the globe, where it is appreciated for its beauty and artistry. The pairing of blue and white porcelain and coffee makes for a beautiful and harmonious combination, representing a fusion of different cultures and traditions.

Deepika owns and runs a specialty coffee shop in Thane, a small yet thriving city right outside the great city of Mumbai. Deepika started Bean Theory Coffee alongside her husband in 2019. “We were the first specialty coffee shop in Thane, a small homegrown establishment operated by a couple of first-time baristas and surrounded by an amazing community.” As the business grew, so did their team. Today, they have grown into a small family of 4 Baristas and 1 Baker.

Apart from running the coffee shop, the couple offers their expertise as Coffee Consultants, helping others set up coffee shops and providing guidance on developing menus and design work. Their passion for coffee and attention to detail have helped many aspiring coffee shop owners bring their visions to life.

Coffee isn’t the only passion that drives Deepika. In fact, before getting into coffee, she was a lawyer by profession. She found that art was an outlet for her to relieve stress, and during the pandemic, she took up digital art again and started posting her creativity on social media.

“Through art, I discovered ways to make coffee more approachable, especially to those new to the specialty coffee scene. In the initial year and a half of my coffee journey, I realized that not everyone understood the concept of specialty coffee. As such, I would try to explain it in a nonjudgmental sort of way, and it was often well received. And now, I try to do the same through my art, to create relatable and informative coffee-related content for everyone to enjoy.”

Shelton’s design draws inspiration from the spirit of Indonesia. The red and white motif is symbolic of the Indonesian flag, reflecting its rich and vibrant culture. Widespread wings capture the essence of homebrewing, allowing coffee enthusiasts to experiment and enjoy their unique blend of technique and skills. They are also reminiscent of the Garuda, the national emblem of Indonesia, which dons 17 feathers on each wing, hailing the country’s independence day, the 17th of August.

The mountains and Garuda feathers together illustrate the philosophy of “Sabang sampai Merauke,” which reminds us that despite our diverse traditions, we are all connected and together as one, and the dripper being the most popular homebrewing tool in Indonesia.

“I met many homebrewers from different cities and cultures, but somehow we’ve always hit it off, and now we’re connected by coffee. I hope my designs will connect all coffee lovers worldwide in support of this charity program. You will be surprised how much you can learn about a person over coffee.”

The fresh illustration showcases Shelton’s hand-lettering skills. It embodies the joy of homebrewing by featuring a simple yet powerful slogan, “THIS IS WHY WE BREW,” inspired by his passion for coffee and love for basketball. This wristband captures the spirit of this fundraising program and the connection we all share through coffee. Thank you for your support!

Delgadilo is a talented Graphic Designer and Entrepreneur passionate about specialty coffee who designed Tonatiuh Love in 2020. The design is inspired by elements essential for coffee growth, including sun, water, wind, and fire, often worshipped in various cultures.

“Tonatiuh, pronounced Toh-nah-teeuh, which means something along the lines of he who goes forth shining, was the name of the Aztec sun god. He was the patron deity of all Aztec warriors, especially of the important jaguar and eagle warrior orders.” As such, Delgadilo turned to old Aztec culture for inspiration on the design – to illustrate how coffee comes to life.

Inspired by the prodigious Michelangelo, Power of Connection is the materialization of Çubukçular’s vision of coffee-inspired art. The design takes you on a journey from soil to cup, rich in colors of flaming crimson, red wine, marigold, and vibrant coffee as Çubukçular walks you through the terrain of mountain-grown coffee beans and continues into the foliage and fruit-beating coffee plants.

Power of connection is more than an artistic expression; it’s a tribute to the hands involved in every cup of coffee. Illustrated as two hands coming together, encased in an AeroPress, which symbolizes the bond that brings us together over coffee. The AeroPress was Çubukçular’s first brewing equipment and has “given me power for years.”

Through Power of Connection, Nükhet Çubukçular aims to support other baristas in the coffee community because, as she puts it, "that's what coffee does, it brings us together." So, whether you're a barista or a coffee lover, join the coffee community and support this unique project. Because with every sip, you're not just enjoying coffee; you're experiencing the power of connection.

Just as baristas convey expressions in their brews, artists do so through their work. Timofey designed this coffee wristband as a donation to baristas worldwide as part of our charity program, inspired by the Russian coffee scene. Right off the bat, the wristband proudly announces “WITH LOVE FROM RUSSIA,” which Timofey hopes to show the world the love that Russians have for coffee and their barista community to the world.

The birches symbolize distinction in Russia, adding a touch of authenticity to the wristband. At the same time, just like Mount Elbrus, mountains with open arms welcome you to the growing community, adorned with tattoos that represent the baristas’ love for their unique ink, viewed as art and an expression of themselves rather than a negative stereotype.

Through his contribution, Timofey is showcasing his love for coffee and giving back to the global coffee community, a testament to his dedication to the cause.

“Growing up with Disney animations and B movies sparked a passion for drawing within me for as long as I can remember.” Olgun has a unique style that incorporates gothic and punk elements, having studied at the fine arts institution of Yditepe and graduated from the Graphic Arts and Plastic Arts division. “As an Art Director and Freelance Illustrator, I continuously improve and develop my skills to create stunning illustrations.
