CUPPING TOGETHER. GIVING BACK TO ORIGIN.
A CUPPING WITH A PURPOSE
GLOBAL CHARITY CUPPING
The Global Charity Cupping brings coffee communities around the world together to support GCAG coffee education at origin. Coffee shops host local cuppings, coffee producers and roasters share their coffees, and the funds raised help us bring free education and resources back to coffee-growing communities.

SAME COFFEES. DIFFERENT CITIES. ONE PURPOSE.
In 2026, we launched the first Global Charity Cupping with a simple idea: what if coffee people around the world could sit around different tables, cup coffees together, and use those gatherings to give something back to origin?
Coffee shops hosted the events in their own communities. Coffee partners shared coffees for the cupping boxes. Project ambassadors and Volunteers helped connect people across countries. Participants bought tickets, tasted coffees from around the world, and helped raise funds for GCAG Indonesia 2026.
COFFEE PARTNERS → CUPPING BOXES → LOCAL COFFEE COMMUNITIES → FUNDS RAISED → GCAG AT ORIGIN
THE CUPPING DIDN’T END AT THE CUPPING TABLE.
Every event was part of something larger. The funds raised through the 2026 Global Charity Cupping helped us bring GCAG to Java, Indonesia — a three-day coffee education program offered free to the local coffee community. For three days, participants explored coffee from farm to cup. We walked through coffee farms and visited a local processing station. We practiced sensory skills, cupped coffees from around the world, learned roasting, brewed with V60 and AeroPress, and finished with a friendly team brewing competition. For many participants, it was their first opportunity to taste imported specialty coffees, Gesha and 90+ point coffees. At the end of the course, every participant received a certificate, a Coffee Wristband, and brewing equipment from TIMEMORE so that learning could continue after we left.
EVERY CUPPING COUNTS.
Coffee shops raised funds locally through their events and sent the proceeds back to GCAG. Together with support from our wider community, these contributions helped cover the basic costs of running GCAG Indonesia — including student meals, local transportation and logistics, educational materials, and project travel.
