1. Introduction

Welcome to the Global Coffee Alliance for Good (GCAG) partnership program, initiated by I’M NOT A BARISTA. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the partnership between I’M NOT A BARISTA (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”) and the participating charity partner (“You” or “Your”). By becoming a GCAG Charity Partner, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Partnership Overview

GCAG Charity Partners support our mission to empower young coffee farmers by purchasing and reselling our exclusive charity wristbands. This partnership model facilitates fundraising and community engagement without requiring direct donations.

3. Purchase and Resale of Wristbands

  • Purchase Requirements:
    • As a GCAG Charity Partner, you are required to purchase charity wristbands directly from I’M NOT A BARISTA.
    • Production Cost: $1.2 USD per wristband (Nov 2024)
    • Symbolic Fee: Starting from March 2024, an additional $1 USD per wristband is introduced to help cover a small portion of operational expenses.
  • Resale Pricing:
    • Minimum Resale Price: $5 USD per wristband.
    • Maximum Resale Price: $8 USD per wristband (optional, based on local costs such as taxes, shipping, and other operational expenses).
    • Recommended Resale Price Range: $5 USD – $8 USD per wristband.

4. Financial Contributions

  • Minimum Donation: $1 USD per wristband sold.
  • Profit Allocation:
    • You may choose to donate the entire profit from each wristband sale to GCAG or allocate a portion to your local initiatives.
    • Partners are encouraged to donate either partially or fully, based on their capacity and preference.

5. Special Collections

We offer a variety of wristband designs to support different regions and initiatives:

6. Ordering Process

  1. Place Order: Email us at order@notabarista.org and specify the wristbands, size, and the amount you want to order.
  2. Shipping Fee Calculation: We will calculate the shipping fees based on your location and provide an invoice.
  3. Payment: Complete the payment process as per the invoice provided.
  4. Delivery: We will manually arrange the delivery to your designated address once the order and payment are confirmed.

7. Responsibilities of Partners

  • Promotion: Actively promote GCAG wristbands within your community and network.
  • Transparency: Maintain transparency in the resale process and accurately report the number of wristbands sold and donations made.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the minimum and recommended resale prices to ensure the integrity and impact of the GCAG initiative.
  • Support: Provide feedback and collaborate with us to enhance the effectiveness of the partnership.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Usage Rights: Partners are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use I’M NOT A BARISTA logos and branding materials solely for the purpose of promoting the wristbands and the GCAG initiative.
  • Restrictions: Partners must not alter or misuse the logos and branding materials. Any unauthorized use may result in termination of the partnership.

9. Limitation of Liability

I’M NOT A BARISTA is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the partnership or the use of wristbands. Partners agree to indemnify and hold harmless I’M NOT A BARISTA from any claims, losses, or damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the partnership with a 30-day written notice. Upon termination, partners must cease using GCAG branding materials and return any unused wristbands if requested.

11. Changes to Terms

I’M NOT A BARISTA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Partners will be notified of any changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
