Discontinuation of Our Presence on Little Red Book

By 17th September 2023No Comments2 min read

To our esteemed community, partners, and supporters,

It is with a profound sense of responsibility and transparency that we, I’M NOT A BARISTA, announce our departure from the Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) platform. As we continuously strive to foster genuine connections with our audience and uphold the highest standards of integrity, we feel it is imperative to align our presence with platforms that mirror our commitment to excellence and authenticity.

Over the months, we have deeply appreciated the opportunity Xiaohongshu has provided, enabling us to connect, share, and grow with our community in China. However, recent events and operational changes on the platform have not been congruent with our ethos. We believe in a digital landscape that promotes open dialogue, transparent operations, and, above all, respects the symbiotic relationship between platforms and their user base. Unfortunately, our experience has indicated a divergence from these principles on Xiaohongshu.

It is not our intent to diminish the efforts and achievements of many on the platform, but it is our responsibility to voice concerns when the environment no longer supports our mission and vision. We urge Xiaohongshu to re-evaluate its practices, ensuring they prioritize the nurturing of quality content, genuine community building, and transparent engagement over short-term gains.

We want to assure our community that this decision, though challenging, is a proactive step towards ensuring that our brand remains consistent, trustworthy, and aligned with platforms that value our shared principles. We are excited about the future, exploring new avenues to connect with the coffee community in China, and remaining steadfast in our commitment to delivering unparalleled value.

Thank you for your unwavering trust and support. Together, we look forward to a future of growth, authenticity, and shared success.

Warm regards,

I’M NOT A BARISTA
