Now Batch #3 brings the biggest update yet: titanium parts, redesigned fine-grinding unit, improved burr alignment, magnetic assembly, better ergonomics, and smarter internals — all shaped by real user feedback. It’s not just a new batch. It’s MOMENTEM, reimagined.

Baristas have used regrinding to unlock exceptional clarity and balance — but it was always too complex for daily brewing. MOMENTEM changes that. Our dual-burr system now features upgraded burr shafts, reengineered concentricity, and a redesigned upper unit with bigger capacity and smoother flow. All precision-machined from 440C stainless steel for durability and performance. This isn’t just grinding — it’s coffee particle control, made simple.
The first conical burr acts as the pre-breaker — the start of MOMENTEM’s two-step grinding system — breaking beans into coarse grounds with greater surface area. Now with Dynamic Grinding Profile: by adjusting this top burr, you can shape your particle distribution — narrower for clarity, wider for body — without changing the target grind size. A new dimension of control, unlocked.
The second conical burr receives coarse grounds at a steady, even rate — ensuring smooth grinding with minimal resistance. Its redesigned adjustment ring now uses a fixed single-rotation range, making it easier than ever to find your perfect setting. Each of the 80 clicks adjusts by 18 microns (0.018 mm), giving you ultra-precise control for espresso, pourover, and beyond.

Grinding Unit
The updated fine grinding unit features a new fixed-range adjustment system, focused on the most-used grind sizes—from espresso to French press—making dialing in faster and more intuitive than ever. A redesigned shaft with a 3-lobe interface enhances alignment by reducing horizontal shaft movement—ensuring a more stable and consistent grind every time. We’ve also introduced three pinballs at the top of the burr, acting like mini-springs to improve concentricity and further enhance precision alignment.
Refined for Simplicity and Precision
The alignment marker has been moved to the bottom of the unit, so there’s no need to match it with the grinder body anymore. This makes assembly faster and much easier. The redesigned shaft and removed the locking burr disc, reducing unnecessary weight while preserving excellent grinding stability. We added two small screws on the titanium ring that let you fine-tune the position of the alignment marker. This way, even after heavy use or disassembly, the marker will always line up perfectly with the indicator on the adjustment ring.
This redesign is more than a small upgrade—it reflects everything we’ve learned from our users. It’s a leap forward in both usability and precision.
4-in-1 Catch Cup
MOMENTEM’s catch cup is a 4-in-1 multitool: Use it as a blind shaker, a sifter with interchangeable sieves, a knocker for minimising retention , and a sealed catch cup with a lid to preserve aroma after grinding. This thoughtful design helps reduce clumping, refine particle distribution, and improve cup flavour — all without adding extra steps to your workflow. Take full control of your grind, your brew, and your flavour — all in one cup.
Redesigned for Function & Feel
Titanium Top Ring – A newly added titanium ring houses the magnets to prevent long-term wear and flaking, ensuring a clean and premium surface that lasts.
Rice Bowl-Inspired Interior – The smooth, rounded internal shape mimics a rice bowl, improving shaking dynamics and sifting efficiency by guiding particles to move more evenly.
Upgraded Lid Design – The lid now features enhanced ergonomics for a more satisfying grip, with a refined edge curve that feels just right in the hand — form meets function.

To ensure your MOMENTEM continues to perform at its best, regular care and maintenance are essential. For optimal results, we suggest using the included brush for surface cleaning once a week. For a more thorough clean, disassembling and deep cleaning your grinder monthly is ideal. This routine will keep your MOMENTEM grinding precisely and producing the freshest flavors, ensuring a delightful coffee experience every time.
