I was already very interested in coffee in a very young age. After I graduated high school I started working in an espresso bar and fell in love with the area. After a short excursion, living the life of a student at university, it was clear that all I ever wanted to do revolved around gastronomy, so I decided to learn the trade of a chef, to learn as much as possible about taste and craft. This apprenticeship brought me to Berlin where once I finished my exams, I started working at the restaurant 3 minutes sur mer, under the head chef Christoph Hauser. The passionate team around the well known chef taught me about taste, texture, technique, and how to combine them. At the same time my longing to work as a barista again grew.
